Flipped Beauty
Over my last twenty weeks of college, I developed my capstone project: Flipped Beauty, a performance makeup line designed specifically for competitive cheerleaders, with the intent to eventually expand into all makeup-heavy sports.
More details to come soon, as I’m working toward bringing this brand to life. A huge thank you goes out to my incredible team that helped shape this vision:
Yuqing Xiao (Industrial Designer), Jacklyn Shear (Photographer), Hope Byrd (Videographer), and Abigail Keth (Project Manager). And also to my models: Lily, Larielle, Penelope, Paiyton, Bellamy, Audrey, Evie, and Trista. All the girls I had the opportunity to coach and work with during my time at the Savannah Sharks. I couldn’t have done it without you all.
Left: As a part of the final submission of Flipped Beauty, I was required to create my brand board, which is a summary of all aspects of the capstone project. This board was printed to be full-size and displayed during presentation week at SCAD.
Right: While shooting images for my capstone, we took clips of the makeup application and also the makeup in use through tumbling, jumping, and stunting. This video is just a short compilation of the shoot day and what I could possibly shoot for a promo video.
